Great New Tools to Use...

 

So I don't have much in terms of any new works to publish, but I do have something interesting to share. The first thing I'd like to talk about is PhotoCraft-the reverse engineered Photoshop that is free to download. I was skeptical about it, but after testing it out, I can safely say that it will be the best alternative bar none. It has all the fundamentals without any bloat and runs fairly well on lower end hardware (save for some minor bugs). While I'm still on Photoshop for some utility that PhotoCraft doesn't currently have, I very much see it surpassing Photoshop and the Adobe Suite entirely in the future. I can't wait for that day so I can say goodbye to Adobe for their anti-consumer business model. 

The other, more interesting tool relates to the image above. I have discovered Venice AI, a private alternative to Open AI, Google, and the like. It allows you to use a wide range of models for your needs. Most importantly, it gives you access to the uncensored and private Qwen models. These models allow you to work with or create NSFW images or text all while keeping the data localized to you. To demonstrate what we can do, here is this personal fake of Willa I made previously:

Standard stuff, I was just wanting to make something for myself. Now if you look back at the image above, you'll notice two differences. First is the least obvious, but the breast size is smaller than the original image. You are freely able to alter these aspects of the subjects using whatever vulgar language you want to use. Second, I was able to change the artstyle of the image to something completely different. In this case, I went for a GTA inspired cartoon artstyle with natural colors and lighting. You can do whatever you please without any pushback or data being sent or seen by someone. I have been wanting something like this for a while, and I am immeasurably happy to have discovered it.

However, there are a few catches. For one, it does have some restrictions, but it's the kind of stuff that you should most definitely NOT be creating or generating in any capacity. Two, the only models that can do this are Qwen based models, and they are nowhere near the quality of ChatGPT and Gemini models. They look only a little better than early quality AI-stuff like the undressing AI apps. Third, and this one may be the deal breaker, you do have to pay for the Pro plan to use these. Along with that, the best models are the ones that are token based. There is a free model that you can use, but it is the lowest quality model of them. I will say though that the Pro plan is only $18 a month, and you can purchase additional tokens at any time. That is better than the other plans for other apps by far, and it has all the functionality you can ask for-including a video editor. Lastly, you cannot do any adult content on the mobile version. Not the biggest deal, but still important to bring up. I will also mention that you can faceswap into videos that are less than 15 seconds. If you've checked out /b/ - Random on 4Chan recently, you might've seen some wild swaps on there. Venice AI with Wan 3.0 is what they are using. It costs quite a bit of tokens to do it per video, but if you are willing to spend that money, the sky's the limit (for now). Just be sure to keep it to yourself to be safe.

If you are someone who wants to get into making your own stuff, I highly recommend getting into PhotoCraft and Venice AI. It may have to come to that for you, as the walls might begin to cave in for us fakers unless there is a safe haven that is private and secure for us in the future. Hopefully not, but I need to be on my toes in the event it does.

I'm doing loads of other stuff in my personal life and once GTA VI comes out, this computer will be shut down for a while I boot up the PS5 to get lost in Leonida going on dates and robbing banks in what will be the most alive open world game we've ever seen. November 19th really can't come soon enough.
