FAKED Set: Alexandra Daddario
Sorry for the month long absence. It's been a hectic time in my personal life and I was away from my home for about a week-keeping me from doing any work here. I decided to try my hand at the lovely Alexandra Daddario once again using Leah Gotti as the base model. Not much to say other than I think they turned out fantastically. I didn't try anything experimental; just refining some of my techniques. I'm relying on the Selective Color panel more and more to match the hair color and skin tone better. It's something I am really trying to master as I think it will make my work better the more I continue to use it. Nothing is likely to be consistent from image to image as a result. As you can tell, each of these has a different color grading as I am trying to work on it; apologies if that bothers you. Hopefully, I find something that will look good for all fakes going forward.
As for what's next, I'm still going to try for an Emma Myers set. I wanted to see what they would look like using Alice March as the base model, and while in concept they looked good, the problem was that the lower quality of the images made the final edits look terrible. I'm probably going to try a different model for that set. I'd also like to try my hand at couple of women's wrestlers. In particular, NXT's Fallon Henley really strikes my fancy, and if I'm feeling extra ambitious, I'd like to try AEW's Anna Jay. I want to make those wrestling themed of course, so I need to workshop on how I'm going to do that first. Don't expect those any time soon.
While I'm on the subject, I'd like to send my condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Hulk Hogan. That was not something I expected to see this week alongside the deaths of Ozzy and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. While I am not fond of the man that Terry Bollea was, he was a cultural icon that shaped the modern landscape of Professional Wrestling and Sports Entertainment for better and for worse. He touched and inspired the lives of so many, and his death marks a changing of the tides for the history of our future. For now, let's let those who loved him mourn him, and the rest of us can continue to move forward in our lives unaffected.
With all that said, I hope you like these fakes for now, and like always, stay safe out there.
