I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF...

So after my last post, I wasn't really sure what I was going to do next. I hadn't even planned to make anything this soon, as I wanted to get back into Starfield with the new update and DLC. I'm having fun with it in spite of its many issues that I feel need to get fixed (the lack of unique loot to find in particular), but playing it is reminding me of the days of playing Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Skyrim-the games I would say I was the most immersed in as I was playing them. However, it was during these gaming sessions that I was starting to develop an itch to make fakes of some far more immersive and intrusive thoughts-the days where I after watching an episode of Arrow, I would "entertain" myself with the thoughts of these beautiful women engaging in sweet lesbian sex. So, I decided that I needed to see what I could do...

I think I can say I did a damn fine job with this set. The complexity of each, and overcoming it, is probably what I like the most about these. Now there is obviously a common denominator in each of these fakes. Have I oversaturated my work with Willa? Absolutely. Do I give a shit? Absolutely not. Much like how Rickoliver1969 is Ariana Grande's biggest fan, I want to be known as Willa Holland's biggest fan. I will wear that title with pride. However, let's not discount the other lovely ladies of Arrow. Why I never made an Emily Bett Rickards fakes before is a complete mystery. She was my second favorite on the show (that is until Black Siren showed up in that sexy costume), and considering she just did Queen of the Ring not that long ago, it was something that was long overdue. Now, if you've been following me for a little while, you might remember that I used the same base image for my original Kristen/Willa fake. It's not the first time I've reused an image for a fake, but I don't want to make a habit of it. Still, this image just felt right to use. The idea of Thea fingerbanging her brother's girlfriend and future wife and being super into it is going to have me looking like Bobby from that one scene in Scary Movie. In a similar vein, we have the next fake with Caity Lotz. This one is weirdly inspired by Phil Cho's Earth 27. If you don't know, he is an artist that drew these stylized portraits of superhero characters in his own variant Earth. He would do some lore for it too, and in one of them, it was mentioned that Sara Lance had a bit of a thing for Thea. I always loved that idea (I mean, how could I not?), so I knew when I made this one, it had to be more intense and passionate. I think I got that across pretty well.

Now the last one, I'll admit, is the worst of the three. The vision was there, Gemini made some good headshots to work with, but I quickly ran into problems. The angle was off compared to the original head, and trying to match that was a nightmare. I even got experimental and tried to use the rotate object feature in Photoshop Beta, but it couldn't upscale the head properly. So I just kind of had to work with what I had. I made it work, but there is one glaring issue: the hair. Most of it is the original, and the issue is that trying to make it look more like Katie's would've created another issue. Since that hair is covering most of the chest area, I would've had to somehow how to bring parts of it back. Honestly? I think that is too time consuming and beyond my skill currently. If I was a real digital NSFW artist-like Amelodyj, Rzhevskii, or Negisaray-I probably could've drawn it in. As much as I would like to be like those guys, I am not. I probably would've just scrapped this one, but I had already put so much work into it that I felt I just needed to salvage what I could. That's not to say that I think it's bad, but when it comes down to one issue, then it sticks out like a sore thumb and leaves me feeling disappointed. Still, it was an honest effort.

I will conclude by saying that you should expect more like these in the future. I mean, there are so many other actresses from Arrow to do this with-Summer Glau, Jessica De Gouw, Katrina Law to name a few. Potentially other Arrowverse crossovers-Melissa Benoist with Willa definitely strikes my fancy. And of course, I ought to do some OC based ones given that Melinda and Mischa were regulars here. Tons of ideas, tons of ambition, not sure about tons of skill, but an effort will be made, that's for sure.

Well, with all that out of the way, enjoy these fakes, and as always, stay safe out there.
