NEW YEAR, NEW LOGO, MORE KSTEW

Happy New Year guys. We are now in the beginnings of 2026 after one hell of a year in 2025. So much death, tragedy, and tribalism plagued us last year, and to be honest, I'm not sure this year will be any better. In spite of that, the best we can do now is just hope for the future, and what better way to start that journey then with some new material. Over the holidays, I've been experimenting with Gemini more and refining prompts to achieve the best results possible for use in my work. I've also just kind off fucked around with it bringing some other-non-faking related-ideas to life that I've had in my head for some time. It's been incredibly joy inducing, but also extremely frustrating. Gemini is incredibly stupid as even though the image generation is immensely powerful, its memory is absolute dogshit, and its UI is leagues behind ChatGPT's. Nonetheless, I persisted to try and figure out how to properly prompt things and make my workflow much better.

This fake was honestly not intended to be published as an official one. It was a personal one primarily done for working with these more expressive headshots, but since my last post was Christmas Eve, I figured you guys should at least get something for the beginning of the year. I also just wanted to show off the new logo, which is based off of the ones made for FRPW. I really liked the sleek design, so I modified it for my normal work. It's what I'll be going with from here on out.

So like I have mentioned before, I've been using Gemini to create new headshots based off of an existing one. My main subjects for testing this have been my usual top three: Willa, Kristen, and Katheryn. The results have been extremely impressive, and I figured I might as well show you the initial generations without any edits made:

Now, those were grid based generations just asking for a variety of "fun and wild expressions." The reason this is helpful is because if you try to generate a single expression that is more suggestive, it has a chance to deny the request. However, the next examples show that you can get away with some if you word the prompt properly:

So as you can see, this method of creating new headshots is actually game-changing. I know I've gone off about this plenty of times before, but each time I work with it it blows my fucking mind. I hope that by showing you the initial results that you can see why I'm so excited about this. Once I work out how to use a powerful generative upscaler for the explicit images, then it's game over, and my work will ascend to a higher level. Here's hoping I figure it out sooner rather than later.

I apologize for the long post for what is essentially a single fake, but I hope you found it a little bit interesting. Maybe this will even inspire a few of you to try it out for yourself. If that is something you're considering, I'll be happy to provide some tips, tricks, and some general advice. Hell, if you want a new headshot of a specific celebrity but don't want to get Gemini, I may even just generate the headshot for you. Just let me know down below.

So until next time, happy New Year, and as always, stay safe out there.
