Mass Effect Babes 3: EDI, Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, and Commander Jane Shepard

Well this came out better and sooner than I expected. Here I am with the third part of this project, with Tricia Helfer as EDI, Anya Chalotra as Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, and Katee Sackhoff as Commander Jane Shepard. Tricia was the obvious choice for EDI, or more accurately Dr. Eva Core in this case. I tried using EDI's actual in-game body for this, but the results were atrocious. I figured I could get away with using a more human body. I imagine a live action adaptation would do this to save on costs anyway. I decided to remove the navel and the vagina, as I imagine a robot wouldn't need those even with a human disguise, but I figured it would still have nipples, so I kept those. She's basically a sexy terminator like the T-X in this work, so I figured nobody would really mind.

Anya was a choice that I more so stumbled on. I'm not even that big of a fan of hers in all reality. I didn't really care for her as Yennefer in The Witcher (Freya Allan and MyAnna Buring are more my speed), but something about her just clicked for me as Tali. I think it might be because I think she would be the perfect choice for Josephine Montilyet from Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I believe she and Tali have the same VA. I tried to get it as close to unmasked Tali as I could, and I think the result is decent. I wasn't able to get the neck markings however. They looked ridiculous, so I said fuck it and didn't bother. To be honest, even the face markings look kind of weird, but I think it is serviceable.

And at last we come to Commander Shepard. When I saw Katee Sackhoff reprise her role as Bo Katan in live action, I knew immediately that she would make the perfect Jane Shepard. Again, I should emphasize that the Battlestar Galactica was not intentional, but I mean they both work so well for their respective characters. Shepard was obviously very easy to do as just a human. I decided to add a N7 tattoo to add some flair. I could see either version of Shepard getting one; it signifies a being true badass just behind a Specter, and Shepard is both. I think this project and Mass Effect as a whole shows that women can be sexy, badass, and strong characters without the need to alienate and propagandize. I do think they were sexualized to the Nth degree in the trilogy, but it never took away from any of them. I hope you all agree with the sentiment.

So I think I'll steer away from Mass Effect for now. It's possible I'll do one for Mass Effect: Andromeda, but I don't have a real connection with that game (I never even finished the story). I'll definitely be doing some Dragon Age ones, and perhaps some from another, older series that Bioware started that is near and dear to my heart. I'm very much looking forward to working on those.

I'm hoping these works bring you guys some joy. This week has been insane between the deaths of Michelle Trachtenberg and Gene Hackman, along with a President that sounds like he'll lead us into World War III at the rate he's going. I needed to dive into this work to distract my mind from it all. It's one of the few things that gives me a little bit of joy.

Nevertheless, enjoy and once again, stay safe out there.
