Mass Effect Babes 2: Samara and Liara T'Soni

I'm back with the second part of this Mass Effect project; featuring Milla Jovovich as the Asari Justicar Samara and Ali Larter as Dr. Liara T'Soni. The Resident Evil movie reunion wasn't intentional; it's just that I feel both fit each character respectively. I felt that Milla's strong facial features (eyes, lips, and nose) fit Samara's design very well, and something about Ali as Liara just clicked for me. It might be due to the fact that Liara's VA is also named Ali, as I do have a tendency to make tenuous connections like that and run with it. Nevertheless, I think she takes to the role very well, as does Milla.

I do have critiques with this one. I do think Milla's face feels slightly off from the head, despite the fact that it lined up perfectly with the Asari head I used. The same head was used for Ali, and I think it came out near perfect, so I'm not sure why Milla's didn't work as well. I still think it looks good and believable, so I'm content with it as it is. On a side note, I was surprised with how well attaching Samara's decorative wear went. I thought it would be needlessly time consuming and would look off. However, it only took around ten minutes, and after using an exposure vector mask to add some shadows to the pieces, it came together very well. Faceapp came in clutch as well with the faces. I cannot stress how amazing that app it. Overall, I'm pleased with this fake and the amount of time I put into it.

The next part will be very interesting to work on. It will require a metric ton of time investment with trial and error, so don't be surprised if it takes a little while to release. There is zero chance I will get it out as fast as I got this one out. I will tease that it will feature the legendary Commander Shepard front and center. It will be the Commander Jane Shepard naturally, as while I would not be bothered to work with a male subject, I imagine most of you won't like that, and female Shepard is just the right way to go. The individual I have in mind for Jane Shepard feels perfect to me, so I'll be excited to show it when it's ready.

I'm not sure how my work flow will be for the next few days. Between the work and the tragedy this week, I won't likely have much energy left this week. I won't lie, Michelle Trachtenberg's death hit me harder than I expected, and it has me thinking about my own health situation. I don't think the world will experience a unique beauty like her ever again, and it deeply saddens me. She didn't deserve to be taken so soon, and I can't imagine what those close to her are going through right now. My heart goes out to them.

With all that said, enjoy and stay safe out there.
