Here's a Valentine's Day gift for us loners...
Here's another, more traditional fake for you guys. I always enjoy faking lesser known or under-appreciated celebrities, and Sofia has been a favorite of mine for a while. I can understand why someone wouldn't find her attractive, but I think she's gorgeous. She gives me an awesome girlfriend vibe-a girl who you could have a good time with whether you're out and about or just relaxing at home. Granted, I know nothing about that; I'm a certified gooner for life, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the thought.
Regardless, This turned out pretty well for the most part, as I managed to blend the neck and the body really well since the original head was in a completely different position. Thanks to warp, clone stamp, and the remove tool, I was able to make the cut parts of the background look natural as well. It was all going super well, but than appeared a weird issue. The whole subject turned as super noisy after all my usual edits. I fixed this as best I could, but I'm a bit iffy about the result. It isn't bad as long as you don't zoom in super close. Overall, I'm pleased with the result, but it is still far from my best work.
The AI stuff still isn't going well. I'm determined to keep trying to find a decent result I can work with, but no generator I try has generated something worth working with. There is a clear reason most people see it as slop, and with everything I've seen so far, I'm inclined to agree. I want to reaffirm that this is mostly an experiment. The majority of my work will be traditional, but I want to test both the generation capabilities of AI and the editing abilities of myself. It will be an interesting challenge once I can actually attempt to do it.
So, as always, I hope you enjoy this piece, and I hope you guys have a good Valentine's Day.
